D365 Power Platform Developer


The Role:

Reporting to the Head of IS, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Power Platform Developer to join our team. As a key player in our team, you will work on innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite and be responsible for the transformation of paper and manual process to digital. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for developing tailored business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development & Implementation: Design, test, and deploy business applications based on customer requirements, utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • End-to-End Development: Develop detailed designs, technical specifications, and data models to meet customer needs. Ensure thorough documentation throughout the process.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand detailed requirements for new applications or updates to existing solutions.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for Power Platform applications, addressing and resolving any issues that arise post-deployment.
  • Life Cycle Management: Be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Issue Resolution: Effectively address and rationalize application issues and leverage your understanding of supporting technologies to find solutions.
  • Communication & Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional and technical specifications, and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers at all levels.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing and implementing software applications.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, JavaScript, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Microsoft technical certifications (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform / Azure) are preferred.
  • Experience in working across all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to address application issues with a deep understanding of the underlying technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal customers and teams.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to develop clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Team collaboration and a strong desire to succeed within our IS team are crucial for this role.
