People & Culture Coordinator

We’re seeking a People & Culture Coordinator who brings strong attention to detail, confidence working with systems and data, and a genuine interest in supporting the employee lifecycle end‑to‑end. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully, develop capability, and grow within a supportive and high‑trust team environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for People & Culture process‑related queries across the business, providing timely and accurate advice and guidance
  • Provide People & Culture coordination across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and Onboarding to performance reviews, employment changes, leave and exit processes
  • Support delivery of OD, L&D and P&C programs
  • Administer content and announcements across internal communications and digital platforms
  • Produce regular reporting and insights on key people‑related metrics
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date paper and electronic personnel records
  • Provide administrative support across employment relations matters and initiatives
  • Support payroll administration and processing as required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

What you’ll need to bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in HR, Psychology or a related business discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in a People & Culture / HR coordination role in New Zealand, ideally in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems; payroll support exposure is advantageous
  • Strong administration and coordination capability, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly developed MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong values alignment and discretion handling confidential information
