The Opportunity:

At Vitaco, we’re offering two exciting part-time internship opportunities across two dynamic streams—Sales Account Executive Support and Product Innovation Support—designed to kickstart your career in sales and innovation.

This is a part-time role, requiring a commitment of 22.5 hours per week, spread across three days in the office. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience while balancing your studies in a supportive, fast-paced FMCG environment.

This internship opportunity is for 12-Months and will be expected to start 30 June 2025.

We’re looking for energetic, organised, and curious individuals, in their 2nd or 3rd year of tertiary study, to join our team in one of the following roles:

 

Sales Account Executive Support 

If you’re commercially minded and love working with data, strategy, and execution, this stream is for you.

  • Work alongside our National Business Managers
  • Support execution with major retailers like Coles, Chemist Warehouse, and Woolworths
  • Help shape promotional calendars, track performance, and drive retail growth
  • Gain hands-on experience in customer engagement and sales planning

Product Innovation Support 

If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and excited by new ideas, this stream offers a front-row seat to product development.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams
  • Assist with concept testing, competitor reviews, and product launch planning
  • Contribute to the development of new SKUs and innovation strategies
  • Learn how great ideas become great products on shelves

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Analysing sales performance and category trends; Using tools like IRI or IQVIA to look at sales and shopper data.
  • Assisting in promotional planning and ROI evaluation
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance
  • Presenting ideas and findings with clarity and confidence
  • Providing administrative support to the National Business manager
  • Supporting National Business manager on retailer-specific projects (Coles/Woolworths/Pharmacy)

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong organisational skills – You’re able to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and stay on top of deadlines
  • Attention to detail – You take ownership of your work and ensure accuracy in everything you do
  • Tech-savvy – Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Relevant studies – Ideally you will be in your 2nd or 3rd year of tertiary study, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or any other relevant degree for industry.
  • Growth mindset – Eager to learn, adapt quickly, and make a meaningful impact in a real-world setting
